Why Markets
We first started selling our fruit and produce at farmer’s markets in 1992. That year we were at the Snohomish and Redmond farmer’s markets and intermittently at Pike Place. Since then, we’ve expanded to over 19 market locations around the Puget Sound, in Central Washington and in Idaho.
Selling directly to customers has dramatically affected how we farm and is the primary reason why our farm has been able to survive. Most of what we grow is grown specifically for direct sale at farmer’s markets. We are continually adding varieties of produce and fruit in response to requests from our customers. Selling directly has also allowed us to diversify and specialize in the “unique” varieties that are not found at grocery stores.
Farm Produce Stand
We have a new market stand located on the Tonnemaker farm at 9098 Dodson Road South northeast of Royal City, WA, the farm stand offers fresh-picked seasonal organic fruit, vegetables and gift items at farm-direct prices. They also carry a large assortment of Gourds. Open from dawn until dusk from June through November.
